Project Search

We are proud to announce the establishment of the Project SEARCH Programme here at The Stirling Highland Hotel.

Project SEARCH is a nine-month programme designed to educate young individuals with learning difficulties and build their confidence within various aspects of the working environment.

The programme operates within the hotel’s working environment. The interns are fully supported by all of the team onsite, as well as the support they receive from their mentors from Forth Valley College. The interns can form new skills and knowledge that will help boost their learning experience and prepare them for work beyond the hotel.

During their time here at the hotel, they will work within all departments such as Reception, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance and Housekeeping. They will take on duties and responsibilities whilst being integrated with the onsite team.

This programme represents our commitment to empowering individuals with learning disabilities, equipping them with the necessary tools to secure employment in the long run.

Stirling County Rugby Club

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Stirling County Rugby Club as their exclusive hotel partner.

Stirling County currently has 500 playing and 300 non-playing members, and 22 men’s, women’s, boys’ and girls’ teams playing across Scotland.

Stirling County’s semi-professional men’s team, Stirling Wolves, are the reigning Champions of the FOSROC Super Series, while Stirling County Women are also the reigning Scottish Premiership Champions.

As well as senior success, Stirling County has the most successful youth set-up in the country, winning the Scottish National Youth League Cup more times than any other team.

The club has been prolific in producing a large number of international players. These include current Scotland co-captain and British and Irish Lion Finn Russell as well as Ally Hogg, Ian Jardine, Kenny Logan, Kevin McKenzie, Grant Gilchrist, Adam Ashe, Jamie Bhatti, Evie Gallagher, Evie Wills, Megan Kennedy, Rachel Shankland and Eva Donaldson to name just a few.

Speaking about our partnership, our General Manager Derek Anderson said: “We are thrilled to partner with Stirling County and equally pleased to engage with the local community, fully embracing its essence.”

Loch Lomond Group

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Loch Lomond Group, and will be stocking a variety of their whisky, gin and champagne in our bar.

The Lomond Group are an independent distiller, blender and producer of some of the finest and rarest Scotch whiskies in the world. They also have an extensive portfolio of premium and super-premium spirits and champagne.

The Group are one of the oldest distillers within the industry. The Loch Lomond Distillery Company dates back to at least 1772 with the first distillery being the Littlemill Distillery. In 1814, the original site for Loch Lomond Distillery was established near Tarbet, and in 1832, the famous Glen Scotia Distillery was formed in Campbelltown. To this day, it is still one of the only active distilleries from that era that operates in Campbelltown.

Loch Lomond Whiskies are also the ‘The Spirit of The Open’. Every year, a limited edition whisky, known as The One, is released in support of the event.
